BIM WITH HBP
BIM covers a vast number of things that do not apply to every project. In the event that the client consider committing to this way of working, HBP will guide the client through the process of making such decision. While making the client aware of what BIM really is and how it should relate to their project, HBP will advise the level of detail, the workflow, the duties of every party that are required to achieve an efficient BIM model to suits the client’s needs.
BIM IN DESIGN
The levels of detail (LOD) required for the BIM model varies, there is different standard that helps to classify them based on the use of the end model. At the early stage the model will be mostly use for coordination. While the BIM Execution Plan is agreed before the project start, the level of detail will progressively increase along with the design phases.
BIM IN CONSTRUCTION
During this phase the model produced during design can be used to follow up the construction progress however the update of the model itself is done by the contractor who have to be proficient in BIM. The client will inherit of a model that would contains all the project information usable for future maintenance for example.
