Sam has spent the last 27 years working in Asia all with the HBP Group as a project manager and quantity surveyor, through directorship to his current position as General Director. Sam was a founding shareholder and director of Qudos Asia Ltd, a development company responsible for the Avalon Apartments in HCMC and was an executive director in the attempted raising of the PXP – Qudos Vietnam Property Development Fund and the Protego Qudos Vietnam Property Development Fund. Sam holds a Bachelor of Planning and Design, a Graduate Diploma in Planning and Design and a Bachelor of Property and Construction, all from the University of Melbourne, and is a current member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AAIQS).

Tony Rae is an international construction industry executive with diverse and practical experience developed around the world on major projects and running large companies. He was the hands-on Project Director for Tsing Ma Bridge Hong Kong (GBP500mln), Jiangyin Bridge China (GBP250mln), Carquinez Bridge San Francisco (USD250mln), HSBC Headquarters Canary Wharf (GBP70mln), Burj Al Arab Hotel Dubai Structural Steel (GBP60mln) and World Trade Centre New York Rock Anchor installation after 9/11. After 35 years in construction and engineering his skill base is extensive and includes: Company CEO, Project Manager, Marketing Manager, Development Manager, Group Commercial Manager, Owners Representative, Manager of Major Procurement                                                                        Department, Contracts Manager, Claims Consultant and Design Manager.

Cost Manager / Project Manager / Senior Design Engineer

With 40 years’ experience as Cost Manager and Project Manager, Mr. Hung is an invaluable asset to HBP Project Management. Mr. Hung holds Practicing license – class 1 in Civil & Industrial Structural Design, Civil & Industrial Structural and Infrastructure supervision, Cost Estimating – Quantity Surveyor and Project Management on Investment Construction. Since joining HBP Project Management in 2006, he has been working on all types of projects, following Vietnamese and international standard and offering his extensive knowledge in various aspects of construction to meet all applicable requirements.

Chief Accountant

Graduated from HCMC Finance & Accounting University in August 1995, Ly was one of the first 3 students recruited by the Huy Hoang Garment & Construction Joint–Stock Company. Ly then worked for Saigon Water Park for 5 years and moved to Colgate Palmolive (Vietnam) Ltd as a Senior Analyst General Accountant in August 2002. Ly was an assistant to Finance Director, helping to analyze management reports, preparing budget of the fiscal year and setting up procedures for internal control system. Ly started working for HBP in May 2006 as a General Accountant and shared her passion and devotion among HBP team. In Jan 2009, Ly was promoted to the position of Chief Accountant for her outstanding contribution over the years. Since then she has been a dedicated leader to guide and inspire the team and always provides the Board of Directors with timely and effective advice in Vietnamese accounting systems.

 

Nguyen Khanh Ly

Office Manager

Ly graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies (now referred as Hanoi University) with the major of English. She has been working in a wide range of areas such as logistics, hospitality, mining and construction. The knowledge and experience in these areas help to complete her translation skill in economic, commercial, legal and construction fields. She also has intensive experience in Customer Services and Staff Management/ Supervision Skills from CrestCom Training Program. In addition, with over 14 years in office administration, HR, Marketing and Project Management with strong ability to solve problems and complete tasks quickly, she has gradually become one of key members in our team

RedaRéda Amalou

Partner

Réda holds a Diploma in architecture from the University of East London (GB). After a number of years spent in several practices in London and Paris, Réda established AW2 in 1997 where he is still practicing as the managing partner. Réda is a member of the Conseil National de I’Ordre des Architectes Francais (National Order of French Architects), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RiBA part II) and is a member of the board and the treasurer of AFEX (French Architects Overseas).

Project Design Director

Yoann graduated from the ENSAG (French national school of architecture of Grenoble) and holds a DE & HMONP degree in Architecture, he also holds the lotus certification from the VGBC in Vietnam. With over 15 years, involvement in the design and management of Architectural practices based in South East Asia, he has gathered architectural and interior design and management skills in both medium and large scale projects to meet client’s requirements. Yoann has been personally involved in hospitality, healthcare, residential, office & commercial projects and has also gained extensive experience on BIM modeling.

Senior Structural Manager

Brent has over 30-year experience in consulting structural engineering design companies. He has designed and site supervised during construction a multitude of buildings and structures throughout both Australia and South East Asia. He has also worked and managed the Representative Office of a major Australian consultancy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam between 1994 and 1999. Shortly after returning to Australia, Brent established BVG Consultants Pty Ltd in 2000.

Structural Engineer

Hieu graduated from University of Technology and Education Ho Chi Minh City with a Bachelor of Construction Engineering. With nearly 15 years’ experience in Civil and Structural design, Hieu has been participating in a variety of projects including high-rise buildings, resorts and factories for major clients. Hieu also holds professional licenses for grade 1 projects in Civil and Structural Design and construction supervision. Hieu joined HBP Project Management in 2014, and currently has the responsibility to manage most of company’s civil & structure engineering works.

MEP Engineering Director

Dragan has a wealth of mechanical and electrical engineering expertise with a depth of knowledge in HVAC design and installation. Dragan has more than 33 years of design and management experience in the industry (26 of which in Vietnam). Dragan has led the design and installation of M&E systems on a multitude of projects of different sizes that include: state-of-the-art multi-use complex buildings, offices, retail, hotels, hospitality, residential, educational, industrial, hospitals, pharmaceutical and toxic laboratories. Dragan brings international management experience coupled with the essential ‘local’ knowledge that is necessary to “get the job done” in Vietnam.

Electrical Engineer

Tuyen graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) with degree in electrical engineering. With over 15 years experience in M&E project management and electrical design field, Tuyen has been working for Contractors, Consultants and even project Owners. Tuyen has participated in various projects such as Industrial, healthcare, educational, residential, resort and hotel projects as a M&E Designer and construction Supervisor. Tuyen joined HBP in January 2015 and since then he has been taking the leading role in M&E design works.
